Oregon Duck fans have always loved their unending combinations of uniforms displayed throughout every season, and since the reintroduction of the EA Sports college football video game, many of these fans enjoy going onto their consoles and mixing and matching their favorite looks.
These fans now have an influx of combinations to create, thanks to a new update from EA Sports College Football 26. On Thursday, the game announced on social media that they are officially adding the “Shoe Duck” uniforms to the game for fans to use.

The “Shoe Ducks” were undoubtedly the most special uniforms that Oregon has worn this year, unveiling them in Week 4 against the Oregon State Beavers, in honor of legendary Duck and Nike co-founder Phil Knight. Knight is among the most significant figures in Oregon Ducks history, having donated over $1 billion to the university and propelled the football program into national contention with his contributions.
The uniforms feature black jerseys with wings on the shoulders, but they’re much more than that. Patches on each shoulder honor Knight and his upbringing, symbolizing the partnership between him and Bill Bowerman that led to the creation of Nike.
The helmets are also special, fitted with gold-speckled wings on the sides. The Oregon “O” on the back of the crown is also gold. The pants and socks are black, while the cleats are gold.
While we only saw this uniform combination once in real life, fans will now have the chance to relive it many times over, pairing the helmet with different looks and combining the gold cleats or anthracite grey with various colors.

Now the question begs to be asked: if the “Shoe Duck” uniforms are going into the game, do we get the “Grateful Duck” tie-dye uniforms next?
