Four of the five NFL.com staff members are picking the Jaguars to win. Here is why Ali Bhanpuri believes Jacksonville gets the job done:

“While I don’t think either squad will look as poor as it did last time out,” Bhanpuri wrote, “I think the Jags’ overall talent advantage will allow them to overcome their inevitable self-inflicted errors in a way Liam Coen’s team couldn’t when it was routed by the Rams two weeks ago. Don’t be surprised if this one is messy and seesaws throughout.”

A clean sweep. All three of ESPN’s predictors are picking the Jaguars in this game, with Jacksonville winning by anywhere from four points to eight points. ESPN’s FPI prediction model gives the Jaguars a 54.6% chance of winning, and on average, they do so by 2.4 points.

CBS Sports

Pete Prisco is picking the Jaguars to win by a score of 24-19.

“Both of these teams are coming off a bye and both badly need a victory,” Prisco wrote. “The Jaguars need to get the passing game going, but the Raiders defense has played decent football. The problem has been the Las Vegas offense and I think it stays that way. The Jaguars will win a close one on the road.”
