Running Back Notes
Rhamondre Stevenson picked up a toe injury that has ruled him out of Week 9. There have also been reports that the Patriots are trying to acquire a running back before the NFL trade deadline, which isn’t inspiring much confidence in Stevenson’s short-term outlook and is even more telling about how the organization views rookie TreVeyon Henderson. The team also signed Rushawn Baker and Jonathan Ward to the practice squad this week. With Stevenson ruled out, Henderson will be a borderline RB2/flex, with Terrell Jennings becoming a risky flex this week.
