The quarterback question remains for the Cardinals as Kyler Murray was a limited participant during Friday’s practice. During the open portion of practice, unlike previous weeks, Murray was throwing to receivers on the active roster. If Murray is unable to play on Monday, Jacoby Brissett will start for the third consecutive game.
Game statuses will be released on Saturday.
The newest addition to Friday’s injury report was Will Johnson. The cornerback was limited with a groin injury. He missed Weeks 3 and 4 with a groin injury.
Running back Emari Demercado was limited once again on Friday with an ankle injury. Bam Knight is the other running back on the active roster, although the Cardinals can elevate Michael Carter. Wide receiver Zay Jones (knee) and safety Kitan Crawford (ankle) were also limited.
For players with their practice window opened, cornerback Garrett Williams (knee), defensive lineman Walter Nolen III (calf), and outside linebacker BJ Ojulari (knee) were limited.
Coach Brian Schottenheimer said there is no concern for linebacker DeMarvion Overshown after he left Thursday’s practice with a thumb injury. He recently had his practice window opened for a knee injury he sustained last year. The Cowboys held a walkthrough on Friday.
