The Jets have not gotten enough pass-rushing production out of their front four. They’re tied for 30th in the NFL with 11.0 sacks and their pass-rush-win-rate reflects their struggles. Will McDonald IV and Quinnen Williams haven’t been productive enough, while Jermaine Johnson II has dealt with injury.

Run-Stop-Win-Rate: 9th (31%)

The defense has been fairly stout versus the run according to the analytics. That goes against the results, with the Jets allowing an eighth-worst 135.8 yards per game. Williams is among the best run-stopping interior defenders in the league this year, per ESPN’s model.

Pass-Block-Win-Rate: 29th (54%)

Jets quarterback Justin Fields certainly hasn’t helped the results in pass protection by holding onto the football. The Jets quarterbacks have been sacked on 31 occasions, second-most in the NFL behind just the Tennessee Titans and rookie quarterback Cam Ward.

Run-Block-Win-Rate: 8th (73%)

Though the offensive line may be occasionally struggling to protect a long-winded Fields, the run blocking ranks top-10 in the league. Fields has been a dual-threat rushing danger. Breece Hall is averaging 5.0 yards per carry while producing 500 yards in eight appearances.
