Will Jaguars’ LB Devin Lloyd play in Week 9 against the Raiders? Here is the latest injury update.
Will Jacksonville Jaguars’ linebacker Devin Lloyd play in Sunday’s Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders?
Lloyd suffered a calf injury during the Jaguars‘ Week 6 game with Seattle. He then did not travel with the team to London the following week to face the LA Rams.
Lloyd did return to practice this week and was a limited participant all three days.
Will Jaguars’ LB Devin Lloyd play in Week 9 vs. the Raiders?
On the Jaguars’ final Week 9 injury report, Lloyd is officially listed as questionable.
How Lloyd felt on the practice field on Friday would be big for him when it comes to his availability for Sunday.
Lloyd has jumped out to a very fast start this season. Through six games, he’s generated 10 quarterback pressures, while remaining stout as a run defender.
Lloyd has also come away with four interceptions, including a pick-six, and was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September.
Without Lloyd against the Rams in Week 7, the Jaguars relied on Ventrell Miller to fill that middle linebacker role.
Awaiting the Jaguars’ defense this week is a matchup with All-Pro tight end Brock Bowers and running back Ashton Jeanty.
