The Carolina Panthers, even at 4-3 and riding a three-game winning streak into last Sunday, didn’t get much confidence from the league experts for their Week 8 matchup with the Buffalo Bills. In fact, only one, ESPN’s Kalyn Kahler, picked them to upset the reigning Most Valuable Player and his crew.
That, obviously, didn’t end up being the case. The Bills and running back James Cook charged their way through the Panthers en route to a 40-9 win.
Unfortunately for Carolina, things don’t get much easier in Week 9—as they travel to Lambeau Field to take on another Super Bowl contender in the 5-1-1 Green Bay Packers. And, as you’d expect, there isn’t a ton of hope for the Panthers this weekend.
