Falcons release final Week 9 injury report with game designations.
The Atlanta Falcons have released their final injury report for Week 9, and it appears quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and wide receiver Drake London will return to the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. Both players sat out for the team’s 34-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 8.
Tight end Kyle Pitts and wide receiver Darnell Mooney are good to go for Week 9 as well. Pitts was limited in practice this week due to an ankle injury, but he has yet to miss a game in 2025. Mooney has been banged up all season but appears to be getting healthy in time for the second half of the season.
It wasn’t all good new for Atlanta, tough. Defensive lineman Zach Harrison and defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. have been ruled out. The same goes for wide receiver Casey Washington and offensive tackle Storm Norton, although Norton is still technically on the injured reserve list.
Safety Jessie Bates III was listed as questionable, along with edge rushers Jalon Walker and Leonard Floyd. Check out the Falcons’ final Week 9 injury report with game designations below.

The Falcons will face the New England Patriots on the road in Week 9. Atlanta has gone 1-2 in road games this season, while New England is 2-2 at home. The Patriots have been one of the surprise teams over the first half of the season. They currently sit atop the AFC East with a 6-2 record.
