The Los Angeles Rams are coming off their bye week after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-7 at Wembley Stadium in London, England, and now they’ll meet the New Orleans Saints at SoFi Stadium on Sunday.

Los Angeles didn’t have their best offensive player in their last matchup, and they still found a way to score five touchdowns through the air, so that should tell football fans just how real this team is heading into the second half of the 2025 season.

There will be plenty of eyes on the Rams in this game for NFL purposes, but they also have multiple fantasy-relevant players who are in consideration to start in most leagues. As Los Angeles prepares for their eighth game of the year, let’s look at what fantasy owners should do with their Rams in Week 9.

QB Matthew Stafford: Start

Stafford has averaged the 10th-most fantasy points per game this year (19.2), and with his top target back, things should be a bit easier for him in Week 9. New Orleans is also allowing 19.75 points to opposing quarterbacks, so it might be easy to predict how Los Angeles’ quarterback will play on Sunday.

RB Kyren Williams: Start

Williams is scoring 15.7 points per game this year, which is good for 13th in fantasy football. With four running backs (Bucky Irving, Saquon Barkley, Cam Skattebo and D’Andre Swift) all above Williams not playing in Week 9, he’s easily an RB1.

WR Puka Nacua: Start

Nacua is coming back from an ankle injury that kept him out before the bye, so he may be eased back in, but for a player averaging 23.1 points per game (the second-most in the league behind Rashee Rice, who has only played two games), it’s impossible to put him on the bench if he’s going.

WR Davante Adams: Start

Adams benefitted significantly from Nacua’s absence against Jacksonville, catching three touchdowns and bringing his average up to 15.7 per game. With Nacua back, he’ll still be a startable wide receiver in fantasy, as he was before the injury.

TE Tyler Higbee: Sit

Higbee has still been too inconsistent this year for anyone to feel comfortable starting him. He’s scored more than five points just twice (Week 2 against Tennessee and Week 6 against Baltimore). With New Orleans having one of the better defenses against tight ends, Higbee is better off on the bench again.

D/ST: Start

The Saints have been a tough offense to watch for most of the year, allowing 12.7 points to opposing defenses in fantasy football, which is the fifth-most. While they’re switching quarterbacks in Week 9, Tyler Shough shouldn’t scare anyone in his debut. Los Angeles should be able to force the rookie into some mistakes that they can capitalize on.
