The Detroit Lions have had a quiet bye week, putting all focus on preparation to face the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday for their Week 9 matchup. With little movement this past week, the team is looking strong and ready to dominate with their usual front runners.
We did see a surprising cut in veteran cornerback Kendall Fuller on Monday, after only a two-week stint with Detroit’s practice squad. With more experienced players returning and ready to suit up, such as safety Daniel Thomas, who is returning from the injured reserve, Fuller was deemed an unnecessary name on the practice squad.
The Lions did elevate linebacker Ty Summers from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. He is the only elevation. As for Thomas, he was not activated from injured reserve and remains out.
