Check out which Cardinals won’t and might not play on Monday against the Cowboys.
The Arizona Cardinals had their final practice of the week Saturday in preparation for Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys and released their final injury report of the week.
Quarterback Kyler Murray was limited for the third consecutive day after head coach Jonathan Gannon announced before practice that Jacoby Brissett would start against the Cowboys. Gannon said a decision will be made at least 90 minutes before game time whether Murray, who is listed as questionable for the third straight week, will be active and have some sort of role either as the backup to Brissett or the emergency third quarterback behind Brissett and Kedon Slovis.
Gannon said, “Everyone is different. Every player, every injury is unique. He’s been pushing, we’ve been pushing. He is getting better and he’s had more work this week. I know he wants to be out there and is doing everything he can, but he’s just not ready to go yet.”
Asked why Murray could be active and potentially play, but not start, Gannon said, “There’s a lot of different scenarios that can happen in two days that you would make the decision, what’s best for the player and best for the team to that be the case. Weird things have happened outside of your control for 48 hours leading up to a game, and things change. So that’s kind of the reason.”
The full details of the final injury report are below. After each player’s injury, there is the daily status, which is either no status (NS), did not practice (DNP), limited (LIM) or Full. Starters are noted with an asterisk.

Running back Michael Carter was released early in the week and signed to the practice squad, but he is expected to be elevated on Monday.
Gannon said Bam Knight will “be the first one that goes out, but all three of them to me have their own role. We’ll see who’s running it well and that guy will probably get a little more touches. So I like our plan going into the game, but you’ve gotta be able to adapt by what your eyes see too.”
