NFL Week 9 picks: Consider Patriots, Lions and Seahawks on Sunday

The New York Jets experienced an emotional day for the entire organization on Sunday, Oct. 26.
Hours before their game in Cincinnati against the Bengals, they learned that Nick Mangold, one of their all-time great players and former Pro Bowl and All-Pro center, had passed away due to complications from kidney disease. He was 41.
Hours later on that same day, the Jets went out (1-7) and pulled off an incredible comeback to defeat the Bengals, 39-38, for their first victory of the season. It was also Aaron Glenn’s first victory as head coach.
The Jets now get a week to reset and recharge for the rest of the season as they sit out a bye week on Sunday, Nov. 2.

The Jets’ next game is Sunday, Nov. 9 when they host the Cleveland Browns at MetLife Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
