New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart experienced a career first on Sunday at MetLife Stadium when the rookie was on the other side of a 49ers Faithful invasion.

San Francisco fans attended their favorite team’s 34-24 win over New York in droves — and it was the first time Dart had seen anything like it.

“That was interesting,” Dart told reporters after the Week 9 game. “I’ve never played at a home game where I felt like it was kind of lopsided in that department. They have a good fanbase and they traveled well.”

MetLife Stadium certainly sounded like a home venue for the 49ers at times during Sunday’s game, like when the Giants’ offense committed back-to-back false starts in the second quarter as a result of the Faithful’s cheering.

Niner fans are known for traveling well, and Dart learned that the hard way in his first game against the Red and Gold.
