The Jacksonville Jaguars will open up the 2025 NFL season at home against the Carolina Panthers, according to FOX Sports NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
This will also be Travis Hunter’s regular-season debut, and as Schultz also mentioned, a coaching battle between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ last two offensive coordinators in Liam Coen and Dave Canales.

The Panthers will be entering Year 2 under Canales and finished the 2024 season with a 5-12 record. However, quarterback Bryce Young really began to hit his stride during that latter portion of the season.
During Carolina’s final four games, Young completed 65.5% of his passes at 7.2 yards per attempt with eight touchdowns to two interceptions. He rushed for 112 yards and four more touchdowns as well.
