Check out Jeff Pratt’s best anytime TD scorer bets for Cowboys vs. Cardinals! Find out the most-bet DraftKings Sportsbook picks for MNF.
This week’s Monday Night Football matchup features a duel between the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals. Despite being 3-4-1, Dallas boasts one of the best offenses in football. On the other side of this matchup, the Cardinals have looked solid under Jacoby Brissett, setting the stage for a high-scoring affair. Let’s break down my top anytime TD scorer Cowboys-Cardinals bets for MNF on DraftKings Sportsbook!
After his notorious struggles to reach the end zone last season despite elite production, McBride has already doubled his 2024 touchdown total (two) through eight weeks this year.
Now, only one of those scores came with Kyler Murray under center. Fortunately, Kyler Murray is not under center once again Monday night.
McBride has developed quite the rapport with backup Jacoby Brissett over the past two weeks. The two have connected a whopping 18 times for 146 yards and, most notably, three touchdowns against a pair of elite defenses.
This week, things get a lot easier on the matchup front for McBride. The Cowboys’ defense is… porous, to say the least. Dallas is allowing the second-most passing yards per game, setting the stage for a third straight dominant performance for Arizona’s top weapon.
In one of my anytime TD picks, you have a tight end coming off his best performance of the season. In the other, you have a guy who put up a goose egg last week.
Typically, I wouldn’t have a lot of confidence in a player who failed to haul in the only target of his last outing. However, Jake Ferguson has earned the benefit of the doubt. The 26-year-old was the NFL’s best tight end prior to his disappearing act against the Broncos.
From Weeks 4 to 7, Ferguson amassed a ridiculous six touchdowns, emerging as Dak Prescott’s go-to red zone target after failing to score throughout the entirety of the 2024 season.
This week, Ferguson’s contributions will be needed. The Cardinals have allowed as many receiving touchdowns to tight ends (three) as wide receivers this year, setting the stage for potentially underwhelming showings from CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. Prescott should look to his safety blanket in the end zone once again this week.
