The Giants were unable to get back into the win column in Week 9 as they fell to the 49ers, 34-24.
The loss marked three consecutive defeats for the Giants, who will look to snap their losing streak this weekend when they travel to Chicago to take on the Bears.
Sunday’s game will be the first of three straight outings against the NFC North for the Giants, with matchups at home against the Packers and on the road against the Lions.
Here are snap counts and takeaways from Week 9.
Quarterback
Jaxson Dart – 57 offensive snaps (100 percent)
Dart once again took every snap at quarterback for the Giants. The rookie completed 24 of 33 passes (72.3 percent) for 191 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 107.0 passer rating. Dart also added eight rushes for 56 yards, good for an average of 7.0 yards per carry, and an additional touchdown. He now has five games with at least one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown, which sets a new single-season franchise record. Dart is only the third rookie in NFL history to have at least five games with both a passing and rushing touchdown.
Running Back
Devin Singletary – 32 offensive snaps (56.1 percent)
Tyrone Tracy Jr. – 25 offensive snaps (43.9 percent)
In the first game following Cam Skattebo’s season-ending injury, Singletary and Tracy split the running back snaps in Week 9. Singletary finished the game with eight rush attempts for 43 yards (5.4 avg.) along with two receptions for eight yards. Meanwhile, Tracy took five carries for 18 yards (3.6 avg.) and caught three passes for 19 yards.

McCloud made his Giants debut and caught one pass for five yards. Olszewski registered his first reception of the season, which went for 24 yards and a touchdown. He also returned three kickoffs for 80 yards (26.7 avg.). Hyatt took on a role on special teams as he returned four kickoffs for 111 yards (27.8 avg.).

The Giants were without Daniel Bellinger on Sunday, which led to Fidone playing a season-high 11 offensive snaps. Johnson was the only tight end to record a catch, finishing the game with three receptions for 27 yards and his team-leading fifth touchdown of the season, all of which have come with Dart at quarterback.
Offensive Line
Greg Van Roten – 57 offensive snaps, 5 special teams snaps (100 percent, 16.7 percent)
Jon Runyan – 57 offensive snaps, 5 special teams snaps (100 percent, 16.7 percent)

James Hudson III – 5 special teams snaps (16.7 percent)
Aaron Stinnie – 5 special teams snaps (16.7 percent)
The offensive line began the game without its starting right tackle as Jermaine Eluemunor did not suit up due to a pectoral injury, paving the way for the rookie Mbow to make his first NFL start. Nearly halfway through the game, the Giants also lost their starting center as Schmitz went down with a shin injury and did not return. This led to Schlottmann playing 27 offensive snaps, in addition to his five special teams snaps.
