Report: Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Josh Simmons returning after weekslong absence

All right, um, Uh, we had 11 injury coming out of it, uh, was Juan Taylor who, uh, hurt his right ankle. So other than that, um, you know, we, we’ve got, we’ve got to do *** little better than that obviously when you’re playing *** good football team, it starts with me and doing my job better and uh. Um, giving our guys an opportunity to put, you know, put them in good position there where they can make some plays, um, against *** team like this, both offensively and defensively, you have to take. Uh, you got to get off the field defensively and you gotta be able to stay on the field offensively and score touchdowns, not not field goals. It was great for Bucker to make them for sure, but you gotta, you, you want touchdowns in those situations. And so, uh, my hat goes off to them. Sean’s done *** nice job with them. They, they played *** good game tonight, so that time’s yours. And what is it about Buffalo’s pass rush that makes them difficult up front there? Yeah, they’ve got those defensive ends are, are top notch so they can roll them in and they’ve got 3 or 4 of them they can, they can bring it. Which that affect the just the timing of your office today? Yeah, I could have listen, I could have helped the guys out and I didn’t do *** very good job with that. So, uh, and then, you know, we’ve got to obviously do *** little better, uh, when given that opportunity. So they were able to move the Yeah, listen, they got the run game going and then right when you think they’re gonna run, they come back and play action or naked. Yeah, they did *** good job with that. Andy, what did you see on the intentional and what did the officials tell you? I saw that. So I mean I was uh in ’83, somewhat in the vicinity there, so I thought that that, you know, that that was what I, why I called that. I tried to, tried to do. Indication that replaced this had already factored that. Uh, no, I didn’t know that. Rita, what made it so difficult to cover the tight ends of Knox and had *** big day of Yeah, they did. Uh, they got us in one on one situations there and they did *** nice job, you know. Tough ask and we we didn’t have enough pressure on him to make him rush it, you know, I mean he was, he had *** little time to allow that to happen, so. Andy, this could be your last time playing in this building. What has it been about this stadium that you help prepare your players for this atmosphere? Yeah, it’s *** great atmosphere that won’t change in the new place. I mean, the fans here, you know, they, they’re, they get wild and so it’s uh. You know, it’s gonna be different than other places, good football team, so good, some good games. Hey, what would you say that that 4th and 17 worked the way to do it? Yeah, um, Good, good throw, good catch, yeah, so. Uh, you know, you got enough time there where you could put it up there so yeah, you gotta score, you gotta sort of touchdown, you know, that’s, uh, you don’t wanna come out with *** field goal, although listen within it we were still within striking distance, so it wasn’t like. You know, we, we had, we had opportunities. Can’t start the second half the way we did. That’s been my responsibility to make sure that doesn’t happen and it did. Not to give the Consideration to to try one more time here from the 1 on 4 down. Uh, I wanted points. Uh, we had to come out there with points, so, uh, no, I thought about it for sure, but I thought getting the field goal was right thing to do right there. Well, listen, I’ve got *** good locker room there, so, uh, rest up and they’ll come back strong, so, you know, that’s what we do. Guys that are nicked up here, you know, the, or throughout the year here, they’ve got to make sure they get in and get worked on, so. OK, OK.
