Prior to Tuesday’s deadline, the Jacksonville Jaguars gave their wide receiver position a boost by trading for Jakobi Meyers in a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.
In exchange for Meyers, the Jaguars traded away a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Jaguars’ salary cap after Jakobi Meyers trade
Meyers will join the Jaguars in the final year of his current deal. He originally signed a three-year, $33 million deal with the Raiders that included $21 million guaranteed. According to Spotrac, the Jaguars will inherit $5.3 million of Meyers’ contract for the remainder of this season.
With Meyers’ cap hit now on the books, the Jaguars have $5.98 million in remaining salary cap space. Compared to the rest of the NFL, this ranks as the 23rd-most, per Over the Cap.
Jaguars’ 2026 NFL draft picks after trading for Meyers
As mentioned, Jacksonville is trading away a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick. According to Ian Rapoport, the higher of the Jaguars’ two fourth-round picks will go to Las Vegas. One of those selections belongs to the Jaguars and the other to Minnesota.
