A recent study, which was conducted by promoguy.us, took a close look at the fans of each NFL team to determine which fanbase spends the most time dedicated to team talk over the course of a lifetime of fandom.
The study, which examined over 2,000 NFL fans nationwide with an average fandom of 60 years, revealed some fascinating insights, including the fact that the average NFL fan will spend around 429 days of their life discussing their favorite team.
To put that in perspective, that means over the course of an assumed 60-year fandom, the average NFL fan will spend a little over 171 hours talking about their team each year, which means that if they were to do all that talking in one go, nonstop, they’d talk about their team for around 7 days straight!
How often do Washington fans talk about the Commanders?
According to the study, the average Washington fan will talk about the Commanders for a total of 494 days over the course of their lifetime!
In other words, the average Commanders fan will spend a total of roughly 197.5 hours talking about our team every year for 60 years.
So, if you were to squeeze all that team talk into one monologue, the average Commanders fan could talk about the team for over 8 days straight every year for 60 years.
