Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline passed at 4 p.m. and with no movement in either direction from the Detroit Lions. Neither buyers nor sellers, the 5-3 Lions stood pat with the roster as-is.
Earlier in the day, Lions head coach Dan Campbell admitted the team was interested in acquiring some help on the offensive line, but only if the price was right. The Lions were never substantively linked to any players who were potentially available via trade.
The only transaction posted during the day involving Detroit was signing rookie OL Jack Conley to the team’s practice squad.
