In the midst of some UFL to NFL waves within the specialist circle, long snapper Peter Bowden was signed to the Los Angeles Chargers practice squad. Bowden spent this past UFL season with the Michigan Panthers.
Peter Bowden joined the Michigan Panthers early on in the UFL season, due to an injury suffered by Jordan Ober in week four. Bowden took over long snapping duties in week five, and didn’t look back the rest of the way. He was consistent for Michigan, providing the team with quality play at the position as they made a Championship run.
Peter Bowden played his college football at Wisconsin, where he was a finalist for the Patrick Mannelly Award as a senior – given to the top long snapper in the country. He spent some time with the Green Bay Packers in 2024, prior to a practice squad stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bowden made his official pro football debut in the UFL, with Michigan.
