Before we know the full NFL schedule, it has been revealed where the Raiders will be heading right out the gates of the 2025 NFL season. Their first stop will be a week one trip to New England to face the Patriots.

When they take the field in Foxboro Mass, they will do so with several very familiar faces on the opposing sideline. Including a few recent starters.

No team had more spending money than the Patriots this offseason and they used a good amount of it on Raiders free agents.

First up, the Patriots signed Raiders starting middle linebacker Robert Spillane to a lucrative long term deal. Back in 2023, the Raiders signed Spillane away from the Steelers and the former longtime reserve MIKE broke out, averaging over 150 tackles the past two seasons in Las Vegas.

On day two of free agency, the Patriots added S Marcus Epps who was the Raiders’ starting strong safety the past two seasons, having signed on in Las Vegas the same offseason as Spillane and instantly taking over as a full time starter.

Last season former first round pick EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson broke out for the Raiders, putting up five sacks for the team, which matched his entire career combined up to that point. The Patriots scooped him up Chaisson too.

Just for good measure, the Patriots also signed former Raiders WR Mack Hollins and TE Austin Hooper this offseason as well.
