Listen as Senior Writer Ed Easton Jr. sits down with Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Broderick Washington. The throwback interview took place during the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine.

Washington played one season with Mahomes at Texas Tech and had plenty of positive feedback from his interactions with the future league MVP.

“The way he played the game,” Washington said. “It’d be times at practice when you think you got him, but right before you get there, somebody ends up being open or he throws a receiver open. And it’s just really difficult because he’s really sneaky fast, and he’s a great player overall. I feel like he’s the hardest quarterback that I’ve had to face.”

The former teammates have battled many times within the Chiefs and Ravens rivalry, with the most recent matchup taking place in Week 4 of this season.
