NFL bettors get a “Guten Morgen” from the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons in Week 10.

The league’s latest international instalment sends those teams to Germany for a Sunday morning matchup inside Olympic Stadium. And while all eyes are on London in Berlin (Drake London, that is), I’m circling Kyle Pitts to dominate in Deutschland.

Falcons vs Colts prediction

Falcons vs Colts Best bet: Kyle Pitts Over 42.5 receiving yards (-114)

It seemed like the Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Pennix Jr. only had eyes for Drake London in last weekend’s loss to the New England Patriots.

London drew almost 38% of the target share, grabbing nine of 14 balls his way for 118 yards and three touchdowns. Kyle Pitts, on the other hand, drew seven balls for just four receptions and 38 yards.

While it may have been a quieter outing for the Falcons tight end, he’s played a larger role in this offense over the last month and could be in line for a big day against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.

Indianapolis has had mixed results defending the pass in recent weeks due to injuries in the secondary, most notably CB Charvarius Ward. In an effort to bolster their pass defense, the Colts traded for shutdown corner Sauce Gardner on Tuesday.

Gardner is currently in concussion protocol but traveled to Germany and is expected to practice this week with the intent of heavy usage on Sunday. He’ll draw the assignment of slowing down a red-hot London in Indy’s man-to-man schemes.

If London gets locked down — like he did in his only other meeting with Gardner (one catch for eight yards vs. the Jets in 2023) — Pitts will be Penix’s top option.

This Indianapolis defense has problems with tight ends, allowing the second most yardage to TEs and five touchdowns to the position. The Colts don’t have any quality coverage linebackers, and the safeties sit below average in their coverage ratings at PFF.

Pitts, who is currently Atlanta’s highest rated receiver versus man coverage, sees his Week 10 player projections ranging from 42 yards to closer to 50 yards receiving. Before coming in just short of his Week 9 prop total, Pitts has gone Over his receiving bar in three of the four previous outings.

Falcons vs Colts same-game parlay

Pitts is projected for 40-plus yards and faces a Colts defense getting roughed up by tight ends.

Indianapolis has allowed five TDs to tight ends, and the 6-foot-6 Pitts is a tall target in the end zone.

This spread is way too big for a neutral-site contest, especially with the way Atlanta’s defense protects against the big play.
