Fresh off a stunning loss to the Carolina Panthers, the majority of NFL experts are expecting the Green Bay Packers to lose on “Monday Night Football” to the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field.
The defending champion Eagles won back-to-back games entering the bye week, while trust is eroding fast in a Packers team that is verifiably good by almost every metric but has come up woefully short in a few games this season. Matt LaFleur’s team lost to the Panthers and Cleveland Browns while giving up only 29 total points in the two games combined.
At every national outlet reviewed this week, the majority of the “experts” are picking the Packers to lose at home to the Eagles this week. But this game feels a bit like Week 1, when the Packers were slight betting favorites but the majority of pickers believed the Detroit Lions would win at Lambeau Field.
Every week at Packers Wire, we’ll track expert picks from across several media platforms. The picks for Packers-Eagles in Week 10:

From Dan Parr: “The last time we saw Jordan Love play against Philadelphia, he threw three interceptions in a game that ended the Packers’ season. Now he’s looking to avenge that crushing defeat without his most important weapon, TE Tucker Kraft, who suffered an ACL tear in Green Bay’s stunning loss to the Panthers. I don’t like the timing of this matchup for the first-place team in the NFC North. The Eagles filled some holes on defense before the trade deadline and have never lost coming off a bye in the regular season since Nick Sirianni was hired as head coach in 2021. Plus, their running game finally woke up to the tune of 276 yards when they last took the field. In that same stretch, we’ve seen some cracks emerge in the Packers’ run defense, with the team allowing 5 yards per carry in the past two weeks. The inconsistency of the Pack this season leaves me unsure of what to expect from them. I lean slightly in Philly’s favor, given the circumstances.”

At The Athletic, only two of the seven pickers took the Packers to win.
From The Athletic: “On its face, this is the game of the week. The winner has the inside track for home-field advantage in the NFC. For much of the year, the Packers appeared to have the firepower to go punch-for-punch with Philadelphia on both sides of the ball. But while the line favors Green Bay, the moment favors the Eagles. Philly, coming off its bye, made trades for three key defensive players in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and defensive backs Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter II. The arrivals shore up the weak spots in an already strong defense, and the Packers will face this new unit without standout tight end Tucker Kraft, who was lost for the year with an ACL tear. Kraft and Jordan Love made magic this season, with Love posting a 150.3 passer rating when targeting his TE, leading the NFL for quarterback-receiver duos.”

From Pete Prisco: “The Packers were stunned last week in losing at home to Carolina, while the Eagles are coming off a bye. The Packers had to be looking ahead to this game. They played like it. I think they get back on track and play much better. They tend to play better against good teams. Jordan Love wins it with a late touchdown pass.”
