The Seahawks 2025 schedule is out, and it opens with an exciting NFC West matchup against the 49ers at Lumen Field.
Looking to return to the postseason for the 11th time since 2010, the Seahawks will face a schedule that includes four prime-time games—two on Thursday Night Football, one on Monday Night Football and one on Sunday Night Football—four 10 a.m. Pacific Time kickoffs, and a Week 8 bye. This season, the Seahawks and the rest of the NFC teams will play eight home games with nine on the road.
That Week 1 clash with the 49ers will be Seattle’s fourth straight season-opener at Lumen Field, including last year’s win over Denver in Mike Macdonald’s first game as the Seahawks’ head coach.
In Week 2, the Seahawks will travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers and receiver DK Metcalf, who was traded to Pittsburgh this offseason following six seasons in Seattle. The Seahawks will continue alternating home and away games leading up to their Week 8 bye, hosting the Saints in Week 3 before heading to Arizona in Week 4 for a Thursday night game against the Cardinals.
After a short break following that Thursday game, the Seahawks will host the Buccaneers in Week 5, then head east again for another 10 a.m. kickoff in Jacksonville on October 12. The Seahawks will host a prime-time game in Week 7, facing the Houston Texans on Monday night in a game that will kick off at 7 p.m.
Following their bye week, the Seahawks will head to Washington in Week 9 for a Sunday night game against the Commanders, their first of four road games in a six-week span. The Seahawks return home in Week 10 to host the Cardinals, then play the Rams in Los Angeles in Week 11 and at Tennessee in Week 12.
The Seahawks will host Vikings in Week 13, marking Minnesota’s fourth trip to Seattle since 2018. That should be an intriguing game not just because it’s a matchup between two NFC playoff hopefuls, but also because it will feature quarterback Sam Darnold facing his former team, which he led to a 14-3 record last season, including a dramatic comeback win in Seattle.
The Seahawks will head to Atlanta in Week 14 for their fourth 10 a.m. game, which despite that early kickoff time, isn’t necessarily a bad thing considering the Seahawks have won 19 of their past 24 games in that time slot dating back to 2018.
The Seahawks play back-to-back home games in Weeks 15 and 16, hosting the Colts on December 14 before a quick turnaround to host the Rams on Thursday Night Football four days later.
The Seahawks finish the regular season with consecutive road games, playing at Carolina in Week 17 and at San Fransico in Week 18 to bookend their regular season with games against the 49ers. The date, time and broadcast information for those final two games will be determined at a later date. All games from Week 5 on are subject to flex scheduling.
Also announced Wednesday were Seattle’s three preseason opponents, though dates and times for those games will be announced at a later date. The Seahawks will open preseason play at home against the Pete Carroll-coached Las Vegas Raiders, then will host the Kansas City Chiefs in their second preseason game before finishing their preseason with a game at Green Bay.
