The Jaguars will reportedly be playing in Orlando during the 2027 NFL season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming to Orlando! The Jags have made the decision to play the 2027 season in Orlando, not Gainesville, while their stadium in Jax is being renovated. Now the league owners just need to rubber-stamp it. Here’s my column: https://t.co/KnUI7epRFz

The Jacksonville Jaguars will reportedly be playing their home games during the 2027 season in Orlando, according to Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel.

Bianchi added that the decision will have to be approved by the league first before becoming official.

EverBank Stadium will be undergoing a $1.4 billion renovation in 2027, which requires the Jaguars to play elsewhere that season.

Along with Camping World Stadium in Orlando, the University of Florida’s stadium was also under consideration.

According to the Jaguars’ team site, the team will play in Jacksonville during the 2026 season, but at a reduced capacity with construction underway.

“Using research derived from Jaguars fans, stadium guests and a comprehensive assessment of the facility’s structure, our plans call for a reimagined stadium with an environmentally friendly and cost-effective structure that showcases state-of-the-art innovation. This proposal ensures the continuation of the annual traditions of the Florida-Georgia Football Classic and TaxSlayer Gator Bowl while also opening opportunities for future Super Bowls, Final Four tournaments, college football playoffs, marquee concerts and more.”

In addition to playing in Orlando for home games in 2027, the Jaguars could continue to play overseas as well, and could do so for up to three games.
