The Pittsburgh Steelers have released the team’s final injury report ahead of its Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Per the team, four players won’t suit up against the Chargers: WR Scotty Miller (finger), LG Isaac Seumalo (pec), SS Jabrill Peppers (quad), and ILB Cole Holcomb (illness). All four failed to practice Friday.

QB Will Howard (hand) and CB Cory Trice Jr. (hamstring/knee) are questionable for Sunday night. Howard practiced fully while Trice has not practiced all week. Both currently are on injured reserve.

No other Steeler carries a game status. The only other player not practicing Friday was EDGE T.J. Watt, who told reporters he was given his off day later this week to better prepare for Pittsburgh’s West Coast trip. EDGE Alex Highsmith (ankle) and DL Cam Heyward (rest) were full Friday participants as was TE Connor Heyward (knee) after missing yesterday’s session.

Miller will miss his third-straight game due to a finger injury suffered during practice last month. A deep reserve, he’s caught just one pass this season and he’ll look to get healthy for the Steelers’ Week 11 rematch against the Cincinnati Bengals. Peppers will sit out his second-straight game after suffering a quad injury last week during practice. Chuck Clark is set to return, giving Pittsburgh safety depth for Sunday’s game.

Seumalo is out after aggravating a pec injury first suffered in Week 8. Last week, Seumalo practiced Friday after missing the first two days. This time, he failed to practice throughout the week, and Spencer Anderson is expected to replace him at left guard. It leaves an open question to who, if anyone, will take Anderson’s place as the team’s sixth offensive lineman. Andrus Peat, Ryan McCollum, and practice squader Jack Driscoll are options.

Seumalo’s absence marks the first time this season Pittsburgh will have a different starting-five offensive line combination to begin a game. However, Anderson has relieved Seumalo to finish the last two games.

Washington, Highsmith, and Connor Heyward missed time early in the week but will suit up for the Chargers game. Pittsburgh is one of the NFL’s most tight end-heavy teams of the season and Washington has increased his snap count and receptions over the last several weeks. Highsmith is coming off his best game of the season and was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Colts.

Howard has practiced fully the past two weeks. With an open roster spot following DeMarvin Leal’s release, the team could activate him to its 53-man roster by Saturday’s 4 PM/EST deadline. If not, the Steelers will have until Wednesday to add him to their roster or leave him on injured reserve for the rest of the regular season where he would be unable to practice with the team.

Trice injured his knee in his second practice back from a summer hamstring injury and seems unlikely to come off injured reserve when his window closes later this month. Despite his questionable tag, it’s extremely unlikely he will be activated by tomorrow.

The Steelers and Chargers kick off Sunday at 8:20 PM/EST.
