Oak Ridge’s Eli Pearson is one of five semifinalists for Kicker of t he Year in the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards.
The other four semifinalists are:
Tommy Bauchiero, Brentwood Academy;Owen Maddox, Notre Dame;Linkin Phillips, Chester County; andMikel Van Pelt, Gibbs.
The three finalists for each award – best players in each TSSAA class and Kicker of the Year – will be announced on www.tennesseetitans.com, the Official Titans Mobile App and @Titans on X, Facebook and YouTube at 8 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 25.
The top kicker and each of the best players in Tennessee will be recognized with a Mr. Football Award trophy on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. A live videostream of the awards will be provided on the Titans website.
A Mr. Football plaque will be presented to the other two finalists in each category. The remaining semifinalists will each receive a certificate.
A committee of statewide sports writers selected winners based on performance in the 2025 regular season, , according to a news release. Academics and character were also taken into consideration. High school head coaches and members of the media nominated the finalists.
This is the 41st year that the Mr. Football Awards have been presented to Tennessee’s best high school football players.
