The Commanders are no longer “America’s Game of the Week” on Sunday. Too late to flip it back to 1 pm though.

The Washington Commanders (3-6) host the Detroit Lions (5-3) at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, this Sunday at 4:25 p.m. EDT.
Previously, this game was slated to be America’s Game of the Week on FOX, but with the recent injuries to the Commanders, who will be without several key players for the foreseeable future, the playoff rematch between the Commanders and Lions is no longer the Game of the Week.
In 2024, the Commanders defeated the Lions in the divisional round of the playoffs to make their first appearance in the NFC Championship game in over 30 years. The Week 10 game was to be a rematch between the teams, but without Jayden Daniels, the game isn’t going to be what people hoped it would be.
If you’re in the blue region of the map, you’ll see the Lions and Commanders on your local FOX station.
Getting the call for the game this week are Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Jonathan Vilma (analyst), and Megan Olivi (sideline reporter).
