The NFL updated their “flexible scheduling” for the 2025 season.
Per the league, Sunday Night Football games currently scheduled between Weeks 5-10 can be flexed up to twice. For those SNF games scheduled Weeks 11-17, they can be flexed at the NFL’s discretion.
Monday Night Football games scheduled Weeks 12-17 can be flexed at the league’s discretion, and Thursday Night games can be flexed up to twice between Weeks 13-17.
Only Sunday afternoon games (or those listed as TBD) are eligible to be moved to Sunday night, Monday night, or Thursday Night, in which case the initially scheduled Thursday/Sunday/Monday night game would be moved to Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoon games may also be moved between 1:00 p.m. and 4:05 p.m. or 4:25 p.m. ET.
The Week 18 games, as has been the case, will remain tentative. In Week 18, two games will be played on Saturday (4:30 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. ET) with the remainder to be played on Sunday afternoon (1 p.m. ET and 4:25 p.m. ET) and one matchup to be played on Sunday night (8:20 p.m. ET). Those dates will be announced after Week 17 games have concluded.
