The Jacksonville Jaguars announced a roster move at wide receiver before their Week 10 game against the Houston Texans.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they have elevated wide receiver Tim Jones from the practice squad for Sunday’s Week 10 matchup with the Houston Texans.
This move comes with Brian Thomas Jr. already ruled out with an ankle injury and Travis Hunter on injured reserve.
This is Jones’ second elevation of the season with the Jaguars. The first came last week against Las Vegas.
In that game, Jones would play 15 snaps on offense, catching one pass for 15 yards. Jones also played 15 special teams snaps across four different phases.
As a member of the Jaguars from 2022 to 2024, Jones was a core special teams contributor during that span, playing nearly 700 snaps.
At wide receiver, Tim Patrick will return to action this week after missing last week’s game with a groin injury. Dyami Brown is also good to go for this game after appearing on the injury report.
Jakobi Meyers is expected to make his Jaguars’ debut as well in this week’s game.
Awaiting the Jaguars’ offense is a very stingy Texans’ defense.
