The New Orleans Saints (1-8) and Carolina Panthers (5-4) meet Sunday for a Week 10 game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Saints vs. Panthers odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.

The Saints turned to rookie QB Tyler Shough, the team’s second-round pick in 2025, for his first NFL start last week against the LA Rams. L.A. won 34-10, covering as a 14.5-point favorite as the total (44) pushed at most shops. Shough completed 15-of-24 passes for 176 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT.

The Panthers stunned the Green Bay Packers 16-13 at Lambeau Field last Sunday, winning outright as a 13.5-point favorite (+600 ML) as the Under (43) cashed. Carolina has won 4 of the past 5 games while going 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in the span, and 6-2 ATS in the previous 8 outings. RB Rico Dowdle, who has seized the starting job, ran for 130 yards and 2 TDs against the Pack.

The weather forecast for Sunday calls for partly cloudy conditions and temperatures of 72 degrees with little chance of precipitation. However, the winds will be blowing at 14-16 MPH, potentially affecting the passing and kicking games.

The Panthers won 23-22 last season in Charlotte, but the Saints lead the all-time series 32-29.

The Panthers (-250) will cost you 2 1/2 times your potential return, and even with boosts or a promo, it’s not a recommended wager straight up. However, if you were to use Carolina as part of a multi-team parlay, that would be perfectly OK.

AVOID straight up, and look to the spread instead.

Back PANTHERS -5.5 (-105) lightly, but don’t get too carried away. Carolina has been playing great football lately, especially coordinator Ejiro Evero’s defense, and Carolina has been taking care of business. Dowdle has been a huge part, as QB Bryce Young continues to be a bit underwhelming. And, WR Tetairoa McMillan is questionable, so that’s worrisome for backing the home side.

Of course, the Saints have one of their top offensive options, RB Alvin Kamara listed with a questionable tag, and if he is out, the New Orleans offense is really in trouble.

UNDER 38.5 (-110) isn’t a very big number, but neither of these teams are very good offensively. And with T-Mac and Kamara listed as questionable, we could see 2 of the most explosive offensive weapons in street clothes.
