It certainly wasn’t pretty, but the Denver Broncos pulled off a 10-7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday evening. Following that sloppy victory, here are Denver’s best (and worst) player grades from Pro Football Focus.
Broncos best offensive players
LT Garett Bolles: 80.2RG Quinn Meinerz: 78.4FB Adam Prentice: 75.0OL Calvin Throckmorton: 72.2LG Alex Palczewski: 70.3RB J.K. Dobbins: 66.1
Dobbins finished the night with 18 carries for 77 yards. The offensive line had another strong showing.
Broncos worst offensive players
TE Marcedes Lewis: 28.6TE Adam Trautman: 42.8RB Tyler Badie: 46.9WR Pat Bryant: 52.5TE Evan Engram: 52.8
Baide is the team’s best pass-blocking running back, but if he continues to drop passes as a receiver out of the backfield, it seems fair to question if he should remain the third-down back.
Broncos best defensive players
DL Zach Allen: 87.1DB Talanoa Hufanga: 83.3DL John Franklin-Myers: 79.3OLB Nik Bonitto: 74.9CB Kris Abrams-Draine: 72.8
Allen is having a monster season, and his disruption on the inside helps make life easier for Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper on the edge.
Broncos worst defensive grades
DL Malcolm Roach: 39.2DL D.J. Jones: 48.6CB Riley Moss: 51.9CB Jahdae Barron: 52.0CB Ja’Quan McMillian: 55.6
Geno Smith finished the night with 143 passing yards, no touchdowns and one interception, but PFF clearly wasn’t impressed with the team’s cornerbacks.
Broncos special teams grades
STÂ JL Skinner: 90.2LSÂ Mitchell Fraboni: 52.7KRÂ Michael Bandy: 61.2PÂ Jeremy Crawshaw: 48.3KÂ Wil Lutz: 53.9 (FG) 60.0 (KO)
Skinner’s blocked punt saved the day. Meanwhile, Crawshaw had a night to forget. To view more player grades from Week 10, visit the paid version of PFF’s website.
Up next on Denver’s schedule is a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 16.
