With the NFL trade deadline wrapped up, the second half of the 2025 season gets underway as the Pittsburgh Steelers hit the road to face the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium on Sunday Night Football.
After struggling defensively the past two weeks, the Steelers‘ unit bounced back last week, forcing six turnovers, with three forced fumbles and three interceptions in the team’s 27-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Along with the several turnovers, the Steelers‘ defense also held Jonathan Taylor to just 45 yards on the ground on 14 carries.
As for the Chargers, they are also coming off a victory, defeating the Tennessee Titans on the road 27-20. Quarterback Justin Herbert had three total touchdowns, throwing for 250 yards.
