Playing a complete game might not always be attainable, but Packers continue to chase perfection

Safety Evan Williams, who appeared on this week’s Clubhouse Live, said fundamentals will be a focus as team looks to rebound. “Start at page zero,” he said. “And build yourself back up.”

The Green Bay Packers will be looking for a bounce-back performance after suffering a stunning loss last week as a double-digit favorite to the Carolina Panthers.

But they’ll have to wait one more day to do it.

The Packers (5-2-1) play the Philadelphia Eagles on “Monday Night Football” on Nov. 10 at Lambeau Field in a rematch of their postseason game last season.

For the Packers offense, it will be their first game since they lost star tight end Tucker Kraft to a season-ending ACL injury. And for the Packers defense, it will be tasked with trying to slow down All-Pro running back Saquon Barkley a week after it was torched by Panthers running back Rico Dowdle.

The reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles (6-2) come into the game rested and tied for first place in the NFC. After back-to-back losses last month, Nick Siriani’s team, which was aggressive at the trade deadline, has won two straight games and appears poised again to begin another run similar to last season.

Here’s what to know about the Packers’ schedule, the NFC standings and NFL games today:

Do the Packers play today?

No, the Packers don’t play on Sunday, Nov. 9. The Packers play on Monday night for the first and only time in 2025 in Week 10.

It’s the fourth time the Packers will be featured on prime time. They’ve already had two Sunday night games and a Thursday night game.

It will be a chance for Matt LaFleur’s team to get a little revenge on the Eagles. Green Bay began the 2024 season with a loss to the Eagles and ended its season in the playoffs against Philadelphia with a loss. But this is the first time the teams will meet at Lambeau Field since 2020.

Former Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander, who was acquired by the Eagles ahead of the trade deadline, will make his return to Green Bay.

NFC playoff picture

The Packers dropped out of the top spot in the NFC following their 16-13 loss to the Panthers in Week 9. The top seven make the playoffs — the four division winners and the three teams with the next-best records. There are nine weeks left in the regular season.

The NFC North is crowded, with no team running away with the division in 2025. It’s the only division in the NFL without a team below .500. But the Lions and Vikings already have more losses than they did all of last season, while the Bears have matched their season victory total from 2024.
