The push for the College Football Playoff is upon us.
Week 11 started off with a bang as Penn State gave No. 2 Indiana all it could handle before a dramatic drive in the final minute. The Hoosiers survived a Hail Mary attempt after some Heisman heroics from QB Fernando Mendoza to escape with a 27-24 win. That ran directly counter to the marquee showdown of the morning as No. 8 Texas Tech throttled No. 7 BYU in a one-sided affair.

In the afternoon window, No. 20 Iowa took a late lead on No. 9 Oregon before QB Dante Moore and the Ducks delivered a game-winning drive in the final seconds. No. 3 Texas A&M’s ranked matchup with No. 22 Missouri was less exciting; the Aggies handled the Tigers in a blowout.
Later on, No. 16 Vanderbilt needed overtime to beat Auburn just days after the Tigers fired Hugh Freeze and Wisconsin finally gave its fans something to cheer about in a 13-10 slog of a win over No. 23 Washington.
No. 4 Alabama took care of business in the nightcap against LSU in the first game since the Tigers fired Brian Kelly. The Tigers didn’t seriously threaten the Tide, but there was a bit of drama as potential first-round NFL Draft pick Garrett Nussmeier was benched.
See how it all played out in Week 11 below.
