The Jacksonville Jaguars are in Houston to face the C.J. Stroud-less Texans for Week 10. Kickoff is at 4:05 pm EST, and you can click here to learn how to watch/listen to the game.
The Texans began the game with the ball. Davis Mills found Nico Collins for a 12-yard gain on the first play, but then Montaric Brown helped cause an incompletion along the sideline before Jarrian Jones came up with an interception!
Cam Little kicked a 55-yard field goal for the first points of the game, but a penalty on Houston gave Jacksonville a fresh set of downs. Little later nailed a 32-yarder when the drive stalled out in the red zone.
Jacksonville forced ANOTHER turnover on the ensuing kickoff! Ventrell Miller knocked the ball out, and Danny Striggow made the recovery.
Trevor Lawrence and company were able to maximize the opportunity this time. After Travis Etienne picked up a first down on the ground, Lawrence connected with the birthday boy, new addition Jakobi Meyers, for a score. The bad news is that the touchdown was wiped off the board by a questionable false start penalty; the good news is that the next touchdown stood.
Lawrence found Parker Washington in the corner of the endzone for six!
Houston picked up a pair of first downs, but its drive quickly fell apart thanks to consecutive penalties and an aborted snap.
A 17-yard punt return by Washington gave the Jaguars decent field position, but a 12-yard sack by Danielle Hunter and 2nd-and-5 led to a punt.
