The full New York Giants’ 2025-2026 schedule. See it below, with some thoughts on key parts of it.

Rough way to start

The Giants won’t have an easy start to the season. The Giants start the season with back-to-back road games against NFC East rivals, first the Washington Commanders and then the Dallas Cowboys.

Things don’t get easier when they return home. They open at home against the AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football (Sept. 21, 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC), then face Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers.

A mile high reunion

The Giants will face the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 6 on Thursday Night Football. That will, reportedly, be followed by a trip out to face the Denver Broncos in Week 7. While the Steelers played the Broncos last year, it was while Russell Wilson was still recovering from injury. So this will mark the first reunion — or perhaps “showdown” — between Wilson and Sean Payton since their ill-fated stint together.

These two back-to-back games will also be a brutal test of the Giants’ belief that their offense is just a quarterback away. The Eagles and Broncos were the top two defenses in yards per play, as well as the second and third teams in points allowed, last year.

Closer against the Cowboys

As usual, the Giants will reportedly finish the season with an NFC East game. This one is against the Dallas Cowboys.

Will this game be meaningful to the Giants in the standings? Will Dart be the starting quarterback? Will there be planes circling MetLife Stadium with messages for co-owner John Mara? Will this be Brian Daboll’s final game as Giants’ head coach?

So many questions.
