The Atlanta Falcons faced off against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10 and they put on a thrilling show in front of the Berlin crowd. The two teams went back and forth all game long. After Tyler Allgeier’s second touchdown run gave the Falcons a three-point lead in the fourth quarter, the Colts hit a field goal to send the game to overtime.
Atlanta’s offense failed to deliver in overtime, though, and Colts running back Jonathan Taylor rushed for his third touchdown of the day to close out Indianapolis’ 31-25 win. Taylor ran all over the Falcons defense for a career-high 244 yards. The Colts rushed for 323 yards and racked up 519 total yards of offense in Week 10.
Despite another impressive performance by wide receiver Drake London (six catches for 104 receiving yards and one touchdown), and the Falcons’ pass rush (seven total sacks), the team lost its fourth game in a row to fall to 3-5 on the season.
Atlanta continues to make the same mistakes week after week. It was a back and forth game, but in the end, the offense stalled out and the defense gave up too many big plays to the Colts. Check out the highlights from Sunday’s International Series game in Berlin, Germany below.
