The Seahawks have gotten out to 28-0 leads in back-to-back games
That’s only the 3rd time that’s happened in the Super Bowl era

The Seattle Seahawks keep rolling. On Sunday, they embarrassed the Arizona Cardinals 44-22 to claim a Week 10 victory. The Seahawks remain on an active four-game winning streak and currently possess the top spot in the NFC West at 7-2.
The Seahawks continue getting off to fast starts. Two DeMarcus Lawrence defensive touchdowns sandwiched in-between offensive scores gave Mike Macdonald’s unit a quick 28-0 lead early in the second quarter. It marked the second straight game the Seahawks have owned a 28-0 lead. That’s just the third time that’s happened in the Super Bowl era, per CBS Sports’ Mike Renner.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught a 43-yard touchdown pass from Sam Darnold to give the Seahawks a quick 7-0 lead. On the Cardinals‘ ensuing possession, Tyrice Knight strip-sacked Jacoby Brissett, Lawrence returned the recovered fumble for a 34-yard score. George Holani made it 21-0 in the third quarter with a nine-yard TD run, and another Lawrence defensive touchdown on a second Knight strip-sack made it 28-0.
The Seahawks also led 28-0 against the Commanders last week on primetime Darnold threw four first-half touchdowns to Tory Horton (two), Elijah Arroyo, and Cody White. The Seahawks are starting fast on offense and defense. It’s the sign of a well-coached football team.
