I have a very hard time putting my finger on who Trevor Lawrence is, what Trevor Lawrence can bring to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
At this point, Trevor Lawrence, Trevor Lawrence’s career, what is he to you?
He’s just a guy, which is crazy for a number one overall, but he’s a guy with a great ad campaign.
I do feel bad for Adidas, which went so big on those Travis Hunter, uh, Trevor Lawrence commercials, but that is, each coaching, they are, they’re kind of great commercials, and now Hunter’s hurt and Lawrence is struggling.
He, he’s had coaches that to me have tried to elevate him, and he does not elevate the people around him.

I don’t know if it’s a, a guy who’s not winning before the snap, but you’re not seeing like that talent come out.
Is he the long, I mean, is somebody gonna make Trevor Lawrence their quarterback next year?
Like, is he’s still in Jacksonville long term?
I think if he continues to play at the level that he’s at right now, he will be playing for a different team next year, cause I think Liam Cohen is gonna want his own quarterback in Jacksonville, and I do think there will be a market, maybe uh a Trevor Lawrence for Kyler Murray swap, something like that.
Uh, what would the return for Trevor Lawrence be?

Like, can you get a first?
Can you get multiple firsts for Trevor Lawrence?
I love Jags fans, and I don’t, do not want to get in trouble with them.
They’re gonna be all, uh, in my mentions if they hear this one.
Look, they, they are not giving up on him yet.
They are hoping the rest of this season can go well.
I think if he was up for grabs, yeah, he’s a guy that, that could be worth a first round pick.
The problem is, That contract is not an an asset.
I know they’ve paid some big money on the front end, but it’s all these top quarterbacks and Kyler Murray is in there, like, there’s so little difference between Kyler Murray and Trevor Lawrence’s contract, and Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes’s contract that if you’re in that middle tier of quarterbacks and you’re getting that much money, it is not an asset.
So he would be a tricky guy to trade, and that would be a tricky thing to like figure out publicly.
