Construction continues at the Tennessee Titans new Nissan Stadium in Nashville 2025
The final piece of the ring beam was installed at the new Titans stadium on Nov. 7, the team announced on Nov. 10.
The large steel piece shapes the building’s circular roof and having it in place is a significant milestone for the construction of the building. The circle is now complete, paving the way for the next phase of the ETFE roof system by allowing the connection of the suspended cables to begin.
The ring beam installation process began in late June and took 20 weeks to complete, with 60 workers involved in the installation process.
The Titans announced on Nov. 10 that the stadium’s Steel Topping Out ceremony will take place on Nov. 21 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. That will mark the completion of the building’s outer structure.
Ground was broken for construction of the $2.2 billion, 60,000-seat stadium on Feb, 24, 2024. Completion is expected for February 2027 in time for the NFL season that year.
The new stadium is located next to the existing Nissan Stadium on the East Bank of the Cumberland River.
In the early part of the summer, about 1,000 workers were working each day on the building. That number has increased to 1,750, and by the end of the year will be about 2,000, according to the Titans.
Even without the outer structure being complete, work on the inside of the 1.8 million square foot venue already has begun. According to the Titans, installation of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing has begun on the upper levels.
