The Denver Broncos announced their 2025 NFL schedule on Wednesday night. The 2025 slate offers five prime-time games, a step up from 2024’s two games, showing the Broncos have clawed their way back into relevancy.
The team used a “uniquely Broncos” way of revealing the schedule, an event the Broncos do at home games: Mutton Busting.
Broncos Country reacted to the schedule — and the schedule release video — with a wide range of emotions. Here’s a sampling of how fans and pundits reacted to Denver’s schedule on Twitter/X.

Broncos are the first team west of the Mississippi to not have a bye week following a game overseas.
There have been 19 other teams who played the week after an overseas game but those teams either returned to the Eastern (16) or Midwest (3) Time Zones. https://t.co/jnYgPaCZGt

I feel really bad for Cam Ward. His first NFL game, if he’s the starter, will be against THIS Broncos’ defense in Denver. Yikes. pic.twitter.com/Dd0qJcIhr6

The Broncos schedule is AWESOME! Despite the fact that there’s no bye after London
We fly back after the London game (Oct. 12)
4 out of 5 home games after that and our away game in that span is close (Houston)
Then we don’t take a long flight again until Nov. 30th (Washington)

The best thing about the Broncos playing in London?
NOT having to play on that Metlife turf!
Absolutely delighted #BroncosCountry

Bo Nix should have beaten Mahomes and the Chiefs at Arrowhead last season.
Now he gets to do it on Christmas — for all the world to witness.

They couldn’t have it be in Denver, could they? Just for once? No. The NFL has to make the Broncos go on the road for Christmas. Again. https://t.co/9LKs2rwF8u

I like this schedule for the Broncos. That said, the bye week is a week late from my liking. I typically like the bye week between week 9 and 11, but for the most part, I like the schedule.
I also like that there aren’t a lot of tough games clumped together like last season. I… https://t.co/Y6532nMPCn

I’ve seen the Broncos schedule and it is very favorable IMO.
Should be well over .500 at the bye and their floor should be 10 wins.
Realistically, they SHOULD BE (and need to be) a 12 win team.

The Broncos’ campaign begins with preseason in the second week of August, against the San Francisco 49ers. The regular season will begin against the 2025 No. 1 overall pick, Cam Ward, and the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 7.
