The Cardinals would have the 11th pick in the 2026 draft if the season ended today.
The Arizona Cardinals, having lost six of their last seven games and coming off a 44-22 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, are now 3-6. They are 12th in the NFC, and the idea of being in the playoff race is laughable. Is it possible for them to do it? Mathematically, yes, but there is nothing about how they have played that suggests that can happen.
And since the postseason is out of reach, we can turn toward the 2026 offseason and NFL draft.
With Week 10 complete, we now can look at the updated 2026 NFL draft order and where the Cardinals stand.
Cardinals approaching top 10 of NFL draft order
According to Tankathon, the Cardinals would have the 11th pick in the draft if the season ended today.
The Cardinals have the same record as the Cincinnati Bengals and LA Rams, who own the Atlanta Falcons’ pick, but they have the strongest strength of schedule, which is the tiebreaker for the draft. Because the “worse” team gets the higher pick, when two teams have the same record, the one with the weaker strength of schedule is considered the worse team.
The Tennessee Titans hold the first overall pick right now, as they only have one win this season, and that win was over the Cardinals in Week 5.
As you can see in the above image from Tankathon, the top 10 picks of the draft go like this:

The Cardinals have the 11th pick currently.
The Rams have the 10th pick (from the Falcons) and the 27th pick.
The 49ers have the 18th pick, and the Seattle Seahawks are at No. 29.
