Joe Burrow speaks at press conference after returning to practice

Joe Burrow speaks at press conference after returning to practice on Monday November 10, 2025.

The latest DVOA (Defense-adjusted Value Over Average) gives the Cincinnati Bengals a 12 percent chance to make the NFL playoffs this season.

In addition, the Bengals’ DAVE, or DVOA Adjusted for Variation Early, has been changed to reflect the injury to Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, with offensive DAVE based on games with Joe Flacco as starting QB.

Burrow returns in Week 12, at home against the New England Patriots, in 20 percent of simulations; in Week 13 on Thanksgiving night at Baltimore in 60 percent of simulations; and in Week 14 at Buffalo in 100 percent of simulations.

“Our division is wide open,” Burrow said Nov. 11. “Pittsburgh’s 5-4 at this point. We play them this week. Everything is still there in front of us. It’s very rare that our division looks like this. But it does this year. So I think we’ll be at least in it until the end.”

The same projections give the Bengals a 10.4 percent chance of landing a top-five pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
