Watching the Jets and Saints blow it up at the trade deadline while the only report #Titans fans get is “the owner won’t trade with the Patriots because shes still sore over Vrabel”. pic.twitter.com/uxKfyHO25q

Things in and around Nashville and the Tennessee Titans were somewhat quiet last week, with the team off and enjoying its Week 10 bye, but many things still bubbled up during the downtime.
News in and around the organization didn’t stop. Although if you listen to fans, there should have been more. The Titans somewhat disappointed fans by not going into full fire sale mode and making only one deal near the deadline. Tennessee also granted Quadre Diggs his release, further weakening the already undermanned defense.
The most significant development of the bye week is the news that the Titans are now the proud owners of the first-overall draft pick in the 2026 NFL draft, with both the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints pulling out victories in Week 10, leaving Tennessee as the only NFL franchise with a lone win on the season.
Week 11 and the matchup with the Houston Texans is only four days away, making it time to take the pulse of the Titans and see what fans and pundits are talking about.
Inactivity breeds discontent
The full-fledged fire sale never developed, and Titans fans were left watching other NFL franchises make significant moves to acquire draft capital, leaving many to take to social media to criticize the lack of activity. The Titans made three moves (if you count Jarvis Brownlee) and did improve their draft capital while leaving some veteran talent on the roster.
Yes, it can be frustrating to watch other teams make moves, but without direct knowledge of the trade discussions, it is impossible to know what is transpiring behind the scenes. Plus, there is little doubt that the Titans’ injury situation played a role in the inactivity, with many of the rumored players battling nagging muscle injuries.
Can’t help but to feel dissatisfied with the #Titans deadline today.
Was the market really that low on guys like Key, Okonkwo, Pollard? Was asking price too high?
Not moving these guys when most (if not all) of them won’t be on the team in 2026 feels like bad asset management.

Complete deadline flop for the #Titans imo:
Key, Pollard, Chig, and Ridley all should have been moved for whatever was offered imo. All will be gone with no draft capital return after the season anyway.
— Drew Beatty (@IronCityFilm) November 4, 2025Let Borgonzi cook
Once the dust had settled on the NFL trade deadline, the organization sent out general manager Mike Borgonzi to discuss the state of the franchise and recap the happenings leading up to it. What transpired in that media session was exactly what fans needed to see. A dedicated football mind focused on rebuilding the Titans in the right way. He was articulate, passionate, and exuded confidence, making it clear he was the right choice for the job, and he has a plan to turn things around.
That #Titans press conference was awesome,I wish Borgonzi would come out and speak more 😭
I truly do feel hopeful for Tennessee moving forward, they’re at least trying to build something special, the right way. pic.twitter.com/aA1jEx6FxN

Very pleased with Borgonzi’s presser
Didn’t beat around the bush
Told it like it was
Said they will get it right
I believe him #Titans

Will the Titan fanbase come unglued during the bye week? Trade deadline over, Patriots rumors debunked, and Borgonzi seemed to have tied up loose ends! #Titans
— 🏈🎮Lyndon Mitchell🗣️🎙️ (@shotbybuddha) November 8, 2025What was the deal with Jarvis?
Months after trading Jarvis Brownlee to the New York Jets, there is still no transparency into exactly why the trade happened. Brownlee is a young and talented cornerback playing at a high level for the Jets, and the move is still a head-scratcher.
This subject came up with general manager Mike Borgonzi, and his cryptic answer didn’t offer any insight into the deal, prompting many outside the organization to take notice.
#Titans GM Mike Borgonzi on the Jarvis Brownlee trade: “It was controversial around here… you’re evaluating the fit… I wish Jarvis nothing but the best.” https://t.co/0QPyoV6i8Y
— 104-5 The Zone 📻 (@1045TheZone) November 5, 2025Dike is exploding onto the scene
Rookie wide receiver Chimere Dike is coming on strong and developing into a consistent weapon on offense and special teams. The fourth-round pick leads the NFL with 1514 all-purpose yards, and even after the bye week, has a 115-yard lead over Jonathan Taylor, who sits in second place.
While Dike has been a consistent threat on returns all season, the offense is working him into the flow as a receiver, and he is proving he is up to the task. If Calvin Ridley can return to form, the emergence of Dike could pay some huge dividends for the offense moving forward.
Offense was still very underwhelming, but the Defense got 6 sacks (without 98) and a pick 6!
Dike continued his growth, and got us the first punt return TD in 13 years!
Long road ahead, but first #Titans game I enjoyed watching in quite some time
— jamesw3 (@whitbyjamesd3) November 3, 2025
Chimere Dike makes me EXCITED to watch the #Titans return kicks and punts. For so many years I’ve feared what would happen and closed my eyes with the ball in the air. Dreading a miffed punt or a fumble.
Now I stand in front of the TV waiting to see what Dike does! Electric. pic.twitter.com/ELzUIjnzvh
— Daniel Caribbean Titan (@CaribbeanTitan) November 7, 2025Is another rookie about to take off?
Tennessee granted veteran safety Quandre Diggs his release on Friday, opening the door for rookie safety Kevin Winston Jr. to take on a larger role on defense. Now fully recovered from the torn ACL in his final college season, Winston has slowly climbed the depth chart and is starting to make plays. With Diggs out of the way, Winston will have a chance to make a larger impact and add some athleticism to the back end of the defense.
Appreciate @qdiggs6 for coming back and doing his time but I am excited as hell to see more Kevin Winston Jr if hes fully healthy #Titans
— Kieran L (@kieran_shaker) November 7, 2025
#Titans‘ McCoy: Love the way Winston practices, flies around, loves to play the game. It’s just a question of experience, getting reps.
— John Glennon (@glennonsports) November 10, 2025
With the recent moves in the Titans secondary, the door opens for rookie safety Kevin Winston Jr.
I sat down with the Penn State alum to talk his return from his knee injury, rookie season, and relationship with DC Dennard Wilson. #TitanUp @WSMV pic.twitter.com/rHXdy9q4FF
— Janyre Cooper (@janyre_cooper) November 10, 2025Continuing the coaching search
With the bye week in full swing and another NFL firing, fans once again started throwing out their dream scenarios for the Titans’ next coaching staff and who should be targets in the search. While many of the names remained the same, some new names surfaced on social media.
A little over halfway through the NFL season, my (still too early) favorite #Titans HC candidates are tending toward:
Offense: Klint Kubiak, Kliff Kingsbury, Matt Nagy
Defense: Robert Saleh, Brian Flores, Jesse Minter
*I wouldn’t love Mike McCarthy, but I understand the appeal…
— Drew Beatty (@IronCityFilm) November 10, 2025
If Robert Saleh can promise Mike Borgonzi that he is going to have either Mike McDaniel or Brian Daboll as his OC, I don’t know a universe where the #Titans have a better option. https://t.co/KASfClvHm5
— Will Lomas (@jlomas72) November 10, 2025
The Giants firing Daboll is something #Titans fans should monitor.
He fits everything the front office has described they want in a head coach, and he is won’t cost much. pic.twitter.com/VzRqbQL9B5
— Courtlandt L.M. Griffin (@thecgriffy) November 10, 2025Will the team return healthy?
Coming off the bye week, there is always hope that some of the injured players on the roster can return to action. For Tennessee, with starters Arden Key, Calvin Ridley, Jeffery Simmons, and Xavier Woods all sidelined, their return could definitely help out. Unfortunately, interim head coach Mike McCoy tempered expectations and offered no real update on their status heading into Week 11.
Tennessee did open the practice window for Mike Brown and Kalel Mullings, but McCoy gave no timeline for the return of the four starters mentioned.
Extremely interested to see what kind of role they give Mullings the rest of this season. #Titans should be giving him all of the short-yardage opportunities imo.
Need to see what kind of physicality he can provide when they inevitably move on from Pollard https://t.co/3N1LaBSJAa
— Drew Beatty (@IronCityFilm) November 10, 2025
McCoy says Calvin Ridley and Jeffery Simmons are working hard and will be out there when they can. So no timetable for vets dealing with hamstrings coming off the bye for the #Titans.
