The Washington Commanders continue to make roster moves. On Tuesday, Washington placed rookie cornerback Trey Amos on injured reserve. Amos fractured his fibula in Sunday’s 44-22 loss to the Detroit Lions and is likely done for the season. This came one week after fellow starting cornerback Marshon Lattimore tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the year.
In corresponding moves, the Commanders signed wide receivers Robbie Chosen and Jacoby Jones to the 53-man roster. Jones, an undrafted rookie from UCF, signed with the Commanders after the 2025 NFL draft. He was released during Washington’s final cuts and re-signed to the practice squad.
Chosen initially signed with Washington’s practice squad on October 1, and he was released on October 27 in a procedural move. He quickly re-signed. Chosen has been elevated for two games this season, catching five passes for 53 yards.
The Commanders also brought back veteran wide receiver River Cracraft. The 31-year-old is in his eighth NFL season and signed with Washington during training camp, but was released during final roster cuts.
Washington also signed veteran defensive end DeMarcus Walker to the practice squad. Walker, a 2017 second-round pick, has appeared in 100 career games with 42 starts. He has 26.5 career sacks and started all 29 of the 32 games he played for the Chicago Bears over the last two years. Walker traveled with the team to Madrid and is a candidate to be elevated for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
