Because it isn’t something the media is asking about where there’s nothing there.

They’re asking about it because the guy won’t stop complaining.

Right, and, you know, given the track record of how this has gone, he knows when he says this, and they’re talking about chat, you know, the chat, laughing about what he’s saying, he knows he’s making a thing.

Like he’s not, AJ Brown is smart.

He knows when he puts that out there, that there’s going to be a reaction to this.

It’s going to get into the mainstream and people are gonna be talking about it.

And what’s interesting is the first time this happened.

I thought in my mind, I was like, I gotta go look at his contract, because when stuff like this happens in the midst of success, now granted, it’s not like it’s last year’s Eagles where they’re just a juggernaut at this point.

There’s definitely some struggles, there’s still some issues with the passing game, but when something like this happens in the midst of success, I go and I look at the contract, cause I’m thinking like, is he, is he paid way under market, um, is he?

You know, 30 and he’s looking for one last bite at the apple because he knows there’s not gonna be, he’s, he’s approaching that period for wide receivers where you start to do one or two-year deals where there’s no real long-term guaranteed money.

It’s, it’s not there for him.

He’s, he signed a 3-year, $96 million dollar extension, like he’s He’s paid at market well, so it’s not a contract thing, it’s, it’s clearly just a numbers thing.

It’s clearly just an ego thing right now.

He wants to be fed the ball, he wants to be putting up numbers, um, you know, and that makes him like a lot of wide receivers who want to be fed and put up numbers, but the difference here is he keeps crossing this line and putting it out there, and Nick Siriani is gonna keep getting asked about it, and Jalen Hurts is keep gonna keep getting asked about it, and everybody’s gonna turn a microscope onto their interactions and games.

Everybody’s gonna be diving into the box score every, you know, every Sunday to see did AJ get fed.

You know, I mean this is.

In some ways, it’s garden variety and it reminds me a little bit of like the TO Donovan McNabb days, um, but in other ways, this is still a team that’s got to pull itself together down the stretch in an NFC that’s gonna be nasty come playoff time where almost every team in the NFC can beat each other.

It’s gotta, one way or another, it’s gotta resolve itself.

I don’t know if that’s gonna take Jalen Hurts or Nick Siriani or who, but some leader in that room has to step up and say, all right, we gotta straighten this out.
