Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. was back on the practice field on Wednesday as the team prepares for its Week 11 matchup with the LA Chargers.
Thomas Jr. suffered an ankle injury in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. He then did not practice at all last week and did not play in Houston.

Thomas officially practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday.
Thomas Jr. has showcased that playmaking ability of his this season, but inconsistency has been an issue as well.
He’s averaging 14.0 yards per catch but has caught just 51% of his 59 targets, with dropped passes being a problem at times, according to PFF.
Without Thomas Jr. in this past game, Parker Washington and Tim Patrick led the way at wide receiver from a snap count perspective, playing 54 and 44 snaps, respectively.
Jakobi Meyers played 27 snaps as he gets acclimated to the new offense, while Dyami Brown was in a reduced role, playing just 23 snaps.

We will wait and see how the rest of the week unfolds for Thomas Jr. on the practice field. Once back on the field on Sundays, Thomas Jr., Washington, and Meyers will presumably account for the top three spots on the Jaguars‘ wide receiver depth chart, with others rotated in.
